Preveza: Where the blue Ionian and the quiet Amvrakikos meet

The town of Preveza features neoclassical buildings, a sett-paved historic district, and a pedestrian zone along its bay perfect for idyllic walks by the water.

The region has many beaches.: There are the endless lacy coasts of Kanali and Monolithi (the longest sandy beach of the European Union) to the small turquoise coves of Alonaki and Ulysses’ Moorage/Ormos Odyssea (in Parga). Visitors can also enjoy hikes to protected areas of the forest of Monolithi, and afternoon walks to the town center where the statue of Odysseus Androutsos and the Shaitan/Sheitan Bazaar are prominent . Preveza is an ideal starting point for exploring the wider region, with many important archaeological sites close by to visit as well.
